I think my eyes are deceiving me - that can't possibly be wind forecast for this Sunday :roll:

Have you got nothing better to do than test your eyesight.

The BBC have been known to get it wrong you know! and there is still plenty of time for it to change.

The pesimistic view aside, Metcheck/Windguru also show 14+ but it looks like it will be in the early half of the day.

Anyone fancy a sail at 6am?

Unfortunately I'm busy this weekend so I don't care if it's windy. (he then goes to sulk in a corner)

17 SW Sat & 23 SW Sun - I'm willing to take bets that that forecast will change by the weekend (and I only bet when I know I'll win!!) - Sunday's backed up by XC Weather, although Saturday's not, but I'll be happy with 1 out of 2 at least.

Sunday is now backed up by the met office charts and gfs so I might be willing to take you up on that bet. What's it worth?

I only bet if I know I'm going to win - so far, forecast shows the same, so I wouldn't bet (so not worth anything!).

BTW - is anyone planning on camping this weekend?
