Two weeks have already passed since my arrival at Hot Sails Maui and things are going really well. I am currently working on to build relationships with the worldwide windsurfing media both online and print, this will really help the brand to promote team riders, articles and pictures around the world. My job consists in collecting data about windsurfing websites, forum & blogs (emails, names, target audiences for publications, current readership figures and advertising rate information) and to email potential partners. Finding a work/life balance is always hard, somehow it is a bit easier in Maui... here Stella grabs a few runs on her custom (pink with white stars!) Superfreak Maui Ed. at Camp One in front of the Hot Sails Maui house!

Office time

Last Friday, I met Sam, Founder and Director of the American Windsurfing Tour (AWT) (Tour final Maui from October the 23th to November the 3rd). We spent the morning together, working on her tasks for the event (phone conferences, business plans and emails to pro riders). I’ve learned a lot from that active young women who carries by herself most of the organization of that huge tour around USA, I will be working with Sam each week which will give me a great insight into sports promotion.
