PWA World Cup Sylt: Gollito Estredo 1st, Adrien Bosson 3rd

Gollito Estredo stages stunning comeback to earn his seventh freestyle world title!

The last day of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sylt PWA Grand Slam saw a dramatic finale as the men’s freestyle title race took a last minute turn. After defeating his team mate Adrien Bosson who claimed a great 3rd place at the event, Gollito was on fire and made the impossible possible. He faced the event leader Amado twice and ensured the title race with a radical display like a massive air chachoo and clean backloops. With the event victory the KING OF FREESTYLE Gollito Estredo claimed his 7th PWA Freestyle World Title.

Sylt provided just 1 day of wave competition with Victor Fernandez finishing on 4th, Klaas Voget on 5th and Alessio Stillrich on 9th. Great team result and fingers crossed for the last 2 wave events in La Torche and Maui. Victor is still leading the PWA wave ranking and has all chances in the title race.

In the slalom fleet our Austrian rocket Marco Lang amazed with bis best result of the year, a 7th place, followed by the German Vincent Langer on 8th, who impressed once again with amazing performance, Pierre Mortefon on 9th and Jordy Vonk on 17th. So all eyes on the last slalom event of the year with the big title race show down.More info: pwaworldtour.com
