Strage day. Wind was dead off shore. Like Ponta Preta or Oneye. But unlike those places where you have a hard time to make the wave, but when you make the wave you scream in joy for the speed you attain, today it was tough to gain speed on the wave face. The waves were inconsistent. Only every 10 or so minutes would a decent set show up. The resto of the waves would be mellow and very unlike hookipa. Very fickle wind on the inside, covered by the hill at hookipa that is blow the level of the sourrounding ground, meant a lot of channel dancing and a lot of rock kissings.
