This battle is heading right down to the wire

Justine Lemeteyer continues to stretch her advantage in the world title race, but the showdown between Lina Eržen and Blanca Alabau to become Vice World Champion is tighter than ever. Eržen edged Elimination 1, Alabau struck back with a smart inside move to win Elimination 2, and then Elimination 3 turned the script upside down as both sailors saw their chances slip - Eržen missing qualification for the final and Alabau going over early in that final. The final is still unfinished, but both will know those moments could prove costly.

Tomorrows conditions should allow the Elimination 3 final to be completed, seeing them both slide down the current standings. But if Elimination 4 also runs, the discard will kick in and the entire fight opens up again. Right now Alabau and Eržen sit second and third in the event, and if things ended today Lina Eržen would claim the Vice World Champion title on tiebreak. For Alabau to change that, she needs another sailor between them. Will she pull it off?

Tune in from 09:00 to watch it unfold.
