Records smashed, new moves and a historic comeback - Day 8 Highlights
Day 8 in Sylt was one for the history books as the Freestylers lit up the North Sea in perfect conditions. Lennart Neubauer was unstoppable, smashing the 40-point barrier in every heat and landing the first-ever contest triple culo on his way to victory in the Single Elimination. He sealed the win in the final with 44.2 points, edging Yentel Caers, who stays firmly on course for a third world title.
Jacopo Testa impressed with stylish double air shakas, claiming 3rd after a nail-biting battle with teammate Steven Van Broeckhoven, who finished 4th. Behind them, Takuma Sugi delivered his best performance yet on tour to share 5th with Balz Müller, Dieter Van der Eyken, and Youp Schmit, who all pushed the level sky-high.
From new moves to drone-judged heats, today raised the bar for Freestyle competition. With Neubauer taking top honours and Caers keeping his world title dream alive, the race for glory has never looked more exciting.
