In this episode, we revisit the explosive start of 2024, reliving the action from Cape Town and Vieste.

Cape Town kicked off the season in style, with howling winds and insane conditions on both the flat waters of Rietvlei and the open ocean. Jacopo Testa, Niclas Nebelung, Lennart Neubauer, and Jamie Howard all brought world-class performances, while Lisa Kloster stamped her authority on the womens fleet. The double elimination delivered unique freestyle-wave action in the waves, with riders adapting to light winds and heavy swell to put on a truly creative show.

From there, we head to Vieste a historic event and the first-ever set to feature all three freestyle disciplines at once: Fin, Foilstyle, and Tow-In. No matter the conditions, the riders delivered. We saw Youth and Junior fleets rising through the ranks, a massive Tow-In showdown in the heart of the city, the latest evolution of Foilstyle with first-ever moves landed in competition, and legends like Kiri Thode returning to the scene alongside new talents. Lennart Neubauer, Yentel Caers, Steven van Broeckhoven, Maaike Huvermann and many more pushed the limits, making Vieste 2024 a landmark moment in freestyle history.
