Vieste 2023 made history as the first official FoilStyle event on the Freestyle Pro Tour. Midway through the season, riders returned to the stunning Gargano peninsula, with Lennart Neubauer in the Yellow Tour Leader Lycra and the competition heating up.

The FoilStyle single elimination delivered thrilling action, with Yentel Caers taking the win over Neubauer after a series of Pasko attempts. Double elimination was delayed by light winds, but a spectacular Tow-In session along Viestes scenic coastline kept the crowd on their feet. When the wind returned, riders hit moves more consistently than ever, and Yentel sealed his FoilStyle victory with a perfect Pasko in the rematch.

The final day brought just enough breeze for the womens single elimination, with Maaike Huvermann defeating Lisa Kloster in a dramatic restart to take the win.

Vieste 2023 proved that FoilStyle can turn even light winds into a playground for innovation and skill a glimpse of whats next for the discipline on tour.
