Day 1: Preparing in paradise as windsurfing shows why patience is key

The opening day of the Riviera Guadeloupe PWA Windsurf World Cup saw sailors registering between 9-11am - local time - before the first skippers meeting of the week took place at 1pm. Unfortunately, as the nature of this wonderful sport goes - the conditions failed to play ball, but come the end of the event there should hopefully be plenty of action.

From a spectators points of view that actually makes things pretty interesting as the best racers in the world will be given no margin for error
