Victor Fernandez (Duotone Windsurfing) extended his trip to Chile to cover more than just the first 5-star wave event of the year - the Chile Surazo World Cup. The Spaniard finished last season as the vice-world champion, proving to everyone that he's not done at the top of the game yet after bouncing back from a disappointing 2023 season, which saw him finish in a disappointing 18th place. Fernandez was able to secure a solid fifth place in Chile, which sees him ranked joint fifth in the overalls at this stage of the season.
Fernandez spent more time in Chile than just the contest period and you can see some of the highlights of his most recent trip to Chile @ https://youtu.be/1ZF0ipk5U5U?si=AHSl-zL9n6iCzhlK
Victor Fernandez: "My 2025 Chile highlights. It was once more an incredible trip, perfect left-hand waves, great people to share the journey with, good food, and the lifestyle I love. We had some astonishing windsurfing sessions before and during the PWA World Cup. It is one of my top 3 favourite windsurfing locations around the world and makes me want to go back there year after year.
