The world’s best windsurfers have arrived in Puerto Rico for the highly anticipated 2025 Puerto Rico World Cup, a 4-Star World Wave Tour event, delivering 60% points toward the overall world rankings.

With a forecast of dreamy Caribbean trade winds, palm trees, and azure waves on the horizon, competition officials have confirmed that the Pro Men and Women’s divisions will launch tomorrow, setting the stage for an action-packed start to the event.

In the Pro Men’s division, a stacked lineup of elite athletes will battle it out in the powerful waves of Vega Baja. Bernd Roediger (Flikka / Hot Sails Maui / Black Project Fins) (USA) (Seed #2), Morgan Noireaux (JP / NeilPryde / Black Project Fins) (USA) (Seed #5), Marc Paré Rico (Simmer / Simmer Sails) (Spain) (Seed #6), and Antoine Martin (Quatro / Goya Windsurfing) (France) (Seed #7) lead the field, with top challengers like Takara Ishii (Goya Windsurfing) (Japan) (#13), Federico Morisio (Starboard / Severne Sails) (Italy) (#20), and Russ Faurot (USA) (#31) looking to shake up the leaderboard.

The draw also includes rising talents such as Michael Rene Friedl Morales (Goya Windsurfing) (Spain) (#40), Vincent Beauvarlet (France) (#78), Charlie Rovira (#83), and Felix Bermudez (Puerto Rico) (#87), each hungry to make their mark on the global stage.
