Tristan Algret reports from the Mondial du Vent in Leucate scoring victory in the freshly added Foil discipline.

"I’m super happy to win the foil racing here during the Mondial du Vent. Because it was so close to the World cup in Le Jai it wasn’t a massive fleet but after a lot of close fights against William Hupert who is specialist in Foiling and this gives me confidence going to words Japan in 2 weeks.

The conditions were very different each day with one day 10 knots and the other 30 knots, both on Flat and choppy water. For the event, I used the Hyperglide2 9.0 on the lighter days and the Mach2 7.8 on the stronger day with more stability in the stronger winds.

Next big event will be the PWA in Japan from the 10th till the 15th of May.
