Adrien Bosson (Fanatic / Duotone / Maui Ultra Fins) finished the opening event of the year in Bonaire in joint 7th place alongside Davy Scheffers (Tabou / GA Sails) - the Frenchman was on a comeback through the double elimination and was only stopped by eventual winner - Amado Vrieswijk (JP / Severne).

If you take Vrieswijk’s top scores out of the equation then Bosson posted the next highest scoring heat with 176.9 points, but he was just unlucky to meet Vrieswijk.

Bosson spent part of his winter in Cape Town, South Africa, and Olli Stauffacher has just edited a new clip of the 27-year-old sailing in Brandvlei and it’s packed with radical action from the current vice-world champion.
