We end 2018 in this incredible West Coast playground. Great conditions, really enthusiast and talented crew, great to have you all so engaged and working it!
We've just finished a really great Freewave session in Lancelin, four full days spent running through our Skills Training System. We covered everything from Warrior Tacks, Gybes, Upwind/Downwind360's, Vulcans, Duck Tacks, WaveRiding and everything in-between. So much time on the water and huge effort making full use of the great location and conditions. Plus of course some apres windsurfing Aussie grub and beers at the Lancelin Tavern, with the gang crashing out at either the Lancelin Lodge, the Lano glamping site and or beach front house.
We ended our session with mad 4-4.7m weather and some decent sized sets coming in on the reef. Great to see everyone adopt to 'Warrior' into their flat water turns and wave sailing routines. Great to see you guys making progress, making moves and I hope it moves your level and aspirations on even more over the coming months. So, A Big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us. Keep going and look forward to next time! We'll bring some of the crew out from the UK next time - anyone fancy a trip to Oz?
Classic Lancelin
We really love this place. The huge flat water lagoon offers the perfect training environment to work through all the skills for Freeride blasting and our Freewave Warrior wave riding training. Everyone worked hard in the lagoon and took the outer reef at their own pace! It's super easy to head out to the break, nip through the channel and then pick up some pretty decent swell. Sorry but we have time to get into a boat to get the shots of the crew on the reef, but as you can see in the back ground, it's all there for the taking.

Huge Lagoon and waves on the outside reef, it has to be 'Lano'.
Steve Fletcher carves another Warrior 360!
'Team Lancelin' Thanks to you all for amazing amount of effort - great work!
Mark Rheinlander and Simon Zoller double Dyno on the side !
One to watch is young Toby Webster who really went for it in the lagoon, took the 'Warrior' concept into his fast tacks, Vulcan attempts and his really strong wave riding style - GO TOM!
Here's Dad, Martin Webster towing the line with soon to be star windsurfer son Tom!
We are planning on returning to WA for both Freeride & Freewave courses in 2019 - Drop us an email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to get first shout!
