You're invited to our Windwise 'Board & Bite' evening social at Inn On The Beach,  Hayling Island.

We're having a Windwise evening social and feast at Inn On The Beach Hayling seafront (NWF venue). For those who want to why don't you head down for a sail and then join us for the social.  Come for a sail, hang out and join us for a fab evening meal and catch up with other Windwise windsurfers. You can bring your partner or any other windsurfing mates too. It will be great to see you!

You need to book your meal tickets online NOW as we have only a set number of settings.Only £25 for a 2 course meal. Plus a few extra nibbles if you get there early! (Let us know dietary needs when booking).

Please note this is NOT an organised windsurfing event. Entirely up to you if you want to go for a day time sail just as you normally would do. I've outlined the best tide times and where others will be sailing from.

Come on your own or bring windsurfing mates!

Dinner places are limited, so sign up ASAP!

Here's the best sailing options to suit the tides.....

Basically you have a couple of sailing options due to the tides....

Then join us for a few beers, social and sit down meal!

Morning Sail @ Hayling Seafront

Hayling Seafront (low tide 8.55am)

Low tide seafront lagoon is sailable up until about 1.30pm

(avoid high tide!)

Please note, the sailing part is NOT an organised event.....There is no rescue, you sail at your own risk. It's no different to just going for a regular sail as many of you do! If you've not sailed at Hayling before, drop us an email and we can give you more info. So just come and go as you would a normal sail and pay for local parking.

When you get to IOB, drive past it West towards the VERY END OF THE CAR PARK near the golf club fence.Close to the last beach hut, which is about 300-400m to the right of Inn On The Beach as you look out to sea. Most people will rig up and sail from there.

We plan to have the tandem out and we'll sail off the very end of the car park until 2 hours before high tide. Any time after that (2 hours either side of high tide) is best avoided.

Afternoon Sail Esso Beach

Esso Beach (best within 2 hours of high tide = 3.23pm)

High Tide in the harbour is sailable from 1.30-5.30pm

If you fancy an afternoon sail, then head to Esso Beach for safe easy flat water. Parking is limited so get there early. The normal rigging area at 'Esso Beach' is just behind the Esso Fuel station 1.5 mile on the right after going over Hayling Island bridge. No toilets there, only bushes! But there's good coffee at the petrol station!

Aprés sail early evening drink 6pm

Head to Inn On Beach after being on the water!

Evening Meal 7pm
