The German Multivan Windsurf Cup on Sylt took place under Caribbean conditions last week with the disciplines Slalom and Racing. The fight for the overall title was unbelievably exciting. In the end  title defender Vincent Langer (GER-1) could get the “International German Champion” title again for 2018, however he has to share it with Sebastian Kornum. German newcomer Michelle Becker finished 5th overall and 1st in the Youngster division where Fabi Wolf got 3rd. Also well done to all the other newcomers like Lars Paustian, Miro Tykal, Stephan Hecker, etc. – great performance!

Vincent: “I am incredibly happy that I got the title again. That was a tough job with hard races.My competitors have challenged me quite a bit. Sebastian Kornum is one of the best foil racers in the world and has confirmed his favorite role here. And also Gunnar is one of the fastest windsurfers in the world – I would have allowed him the DM title as well.”
