First stop of the 2018 World Cup just ended up in Yokosuka – Japan after a week of competition. With only one elimination finished Marion & Pierre Mortefon take bronze at the PWA opening event of the year in Japan, making a perfect start into the season! Last year  the two became the first brother and sister to finish on the overall podium since Britt and Björn Dunkerbeck , as both of them completed the podium on the PWA Slalom World Tour.

Pierre: “I am super happy to finish on the 3rd place and be back on the podium for this first stop of the year! The first international competition is always a bit stressful as you want to know if your winter training was succesful. I also became a fresh father right before the event, which gave me some extra motivation”
