Jordy Vonk big in Japan - With his great 2nd place at the FLY! ANA PWA WINDSURFING WORLD CUP, YOKOSUKA JAPAN 2017 #WarpBoy Jordy Vonk made a strong statement and showed impressively that he has a big mission this year. An intense preparation at the TWS center in Tenerife seems to pay off for the sympathic Dutch slalom pilot who is consistenly improving his performance since 2 years. The contest was not very blessed with good condition but at least one complete elimination could be executed in Japan. The flying Dutchman looked dangerous in South Korea already and he continued that blistering form here to secure second place, which is the 23-year-olds first ever podium on the PWA World Tour and he was understandably delighted saying: “Oh my god I’m super, super stoked, especially after just missing out in Costa Brava last year, so to make it now is just amazing.”
Well done Jordy and good luck for Costa Brava
