El Medano in Tenerife is the base for our first Freewave session of 2017

EL MEDANO Freewave 2017

Beach view apartments, massive bay, TWS centre packed full of kit, tasty tapas and Dorado beer, t has to be El Medano in Tenerife for our Freewave Adventure.    

We are back in El Medano to escape the UK winter, brush up on our wave skills to prepare for the season ahead. It has been a very up and down session with wind on both weeks, although not as much as might normally expect at this time of year. We have run through all the supportive skills using our 'Warrior' stance range to enhance, fast tacks, gybes, wave riding, helicopter tacks and a whole lot more.

As ever we have made use of the conditions, caught some waves, ventured to the harbour wall, eaten loads of tapas, fresh fish, ridden bikes, WindSUPed and appreciated some winter sun.

Thank you to everyone for your efforts, patience with the wind and for the great atmosphere on and off the water.
