German Windsurf Cup in Kühlungsborn

Sebastian Kornum DEN-24Great to get a win again in Germany!!I was feeling in form to win 3 out of 5 races. Still, it was tough to win the formula! The level is high so I really had to fight for it! I did most of the passes on downwind before the finish. With the overall victory in Formula and my 3rd in Slalom and 1st in formula, I also managed to win the event!Also great to see many JP riders in the top of the fleet and that my young fellow country man Nicklas Borgen won the Formula race in the Youth class!

.Nico Prien GER-7It was a pretty tough weekend at the GWC in Kühlungsborn. We sailed two Slalom and 5 Formula races.I ended up in 4th place overall. I’m not very satisfied, but it certainly is not a bad result either, especially when considering the fact that a few very good riders from the Netherlands and Denmark participated.

Luis Ponseti GER-293The event in Kuehlungsborn is over and I am supper happy about my 10th place overall. In the Youth class I came 3rd in Formula and managed to win the Slalom and Overall title!

Moritz Bochnia GER-9I am super happy with my 7th place in Slalom (4th German) and 6th Place in Formula (5th German) as there were a few strong national and international competitors. In the end I became 6th Overall with two international competitors in front of me.Now, I start with the preparations for the German Championships.
