What a sensational start to the season: 2 Fanatic riders in the Top 3 at the PWA Surf World Cup Austria – Gollito Estredo 1st and Adrien Bosson 3rd!

After a difficult season in 2015 we are very happy to see Gollito on top again! When we saw him performing during our  photoshoot on Maui we actually never had a doubt! But also Adrien Bosson had his best PWA Freestyle contest so far, being in the final of the Single Eliminaton together with Gollito performing like a champ there! Well done boys, we are super stoked!

Gollito Estredo: “I feel great! The level I showed here was amazing, this is something that makes me eager to keep giving everything on the water, holding up my Venezuelan flag. Last year was my worst year ever with some injuries and illness and I was not happy with my result. But every time those things happen it makes you stronger and I have trained very hard during the winter. I want to thank God and all my sponsors for being on my side and supporting me –  I’m very grateful of life.”

Adrien Bosson: “What a successful event for me! Super happy that I made it to the winners final in the Single Elimination, number 3 in a PWA event is my best result so far! Congrats to my team mate Gollito Estredo for taking the victory, well deserved!”

The early start of the contest  definitely paid off on day one and two as the wind stopped after. The conditions were really difficult with winds up to 40 knots and temperatures close to freezing. The rest of the event was sunny with lots of SUP action and very good traffic at our Fanatic/Boards & More tent! Thxs to Chris Sammer and his team for representing the brand there – great job!
