S4U SlalomCup 2016

JP’s business partner Surf4You in Vietnam organized a great race in January 2016 at their spot in Mui Ne. Here is their report. Enjoy!

“January 8, 2016 – Mui Ne village, on the South cost of Vietnam, hosted the seventh annual Surf4You Andrey Zabolotny Slalom Cup, supported by JP-Australia.

25 riders from 4 countries – Vietnam, UK, South Korea and Russia – competed in three categories: Junior, Amateur and Pro. Participants came from far and wide to compete for prizes from Surf4You and JP-Australia.

As always at this time of year, Mui Ne supplied us with great conditions and stable wind allowing enough heats to define the winners in all categories.

Apart from great conditions, the event organisers have another bonus every year: the chance to meet and hang out with the rookies who are taking their first steps in windsurfing at the Surf4You school, which is situated on the same beach. The location is not just ideal for slalom racing, but also one of the best spots in the world to learn windsurfing.

The team of organizers would like to express their immense gratitude to all the participants for their dedication, and to our respected partners, especially JP-Australia – for their ongoing support of the windsurfing community around the world.”
