On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of June 2016 UKWA (United Kingdom WindsurfingAssociation) will be hosting Windsurfing Slalom racing as part inauguralInternational/National Watersports Championships consisting of Kite, Sup &Windsurfing as part of this years Clacton Sea and Beach Festival. With a range of categories to suit all abilities, novice, amateur and professional. This is the 2nd year of the festival which attracted over 50 thousand visitors in 2015 with its towns carnival atmosphere with live music and numerous activities for onlookers to participate in throughout the weekend.

There will be £2000 prize fund distributed as follows;

Professional Fleet

1st £750

2nd £500

3rd £250

4th £100

5th £50

Amateur Fleet

1st £75

2nd £50

3rd £25

Ladies Fleet

£150 Prize money will be distributed dependent of ladies categories over theweekend.

A sailor must be a current member of the UKWA in order to compete or a non-UKresident who is a member of either their national windsurfing association or anISAF Member National Authority. Temporary membership may be extended to allfleets once only and to Master Blaster competitors repeatedly.
