boot Düsseldorf in Germany is the biggest boat- and water sports trade fair in the world. From January 23 until January 31 about 1,700 exhibiting companies from more than 60 countries present their equipment and innovations in 17 different halls.

The exhibition hall no. 1 – the Beach World – will be busy with windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding or stand-up paddling companies presenting their latest equipment. Plus, travel agencies and windsurfing centers will present themselves. 

Besides the exhibition many events are planned in hall 1. The centerpiece of the hall will be the 1000m2 big pool, with a cable winch, where SUP events, wakeboard and skimboard action will take place. And in exhibition hall no. 2 many watersport shops will sell last year’s equipment for reasonable prices.

WHAT ELSE?

• German SURF Magazine will announce the “Surfer of the year” on January 23, at 4 p.m in hall 1.
• On January 24 at 4 pm  the “Windsurfing Talent of the year” will be announced and will receive a support of 2016 € for the upcoming season. 
• Surf-party at the “Schlösser-Quartier Boheme” at Ratinger Straße in Düsseldorf on January 23 at 10.00 p.m. Tickets at the Surf booth in hall 1.
