Just after the conclusion of the epic NoveNove Maui Aloha Classic — Levi Siver (Quatro / Goya Windsurfing / MFC), Marcilio Browne (Goya Windsurfing / MFC) and Philip Köster (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) headed for Lake Superior, which is the largest of the Great Lakes of North America.

With 5 world titles between them this isn’t perhaps where you would expect to find 3 world class wave sailors, but this was a special mission for Red Bull. The 3 sailors have to swap their boardies for thick winter wetsuits, hoods, boots and gloves to battle the extreme elements — with the temperature close to zero.

Despite the baltic temperatures Siver, Browne and Köster are still able to show off some of their trademark stunts as they throw caution to the wind to spin through backloops, pushloops, forwards and Siver even manages to bust out a frontside 3.
