With Getwindsurfing

On the 24th and 25th Of October Danielle Lucas and Phil Richards from GetWindsurfing ran the 2015 UKWA Freestyle Championships at the OTC in Weymouth and Portland Harbour.

With there only being 1 event for 2015 the title of British Freestyle Champion 2015 was to be decided over the weekend.

The forecast only predicted wind for the Saturday, so all the riders had an early start to register, rig and get on the water to make the most of the conditions.

Riders from all fleets made the most out of the difficult & gusty conditions performing a varied mixture of freestyle manoeuvres in the light winds. Often the heats were very close leaving some hard decisions for judges Danielle Lucas, Phil Richards & Nic Hibdige.

After a long and hard day of competition we managed to fit in an elimination for all, and so therefore get a result from the event giving us our UKWA Freestyle champions for 2015
