Hickling Windsurfing Club Up And Coming Events……

For many years now Hickling Broad Windsurfing Club has been closely affiliated with both Quayside Windsurfers and Team QSW. So when Martin Harwood sent me the up and coming events being held at the windsurf clubhouse I just had to get it onto the blog.

If you have never been to Hickling its an inland broad 12 miles NE of Norwich and has a vibrant windsurf club which has spawned many of the top coastal windsurfers we see today. The broad is shallow so super safe for beginners and families alike and the guys who hang out there are really happy to help any new members that go there.

To help this organic process the club has organised several events for members and non members alike and have introduced some special deals to get new members along.

For Summer 2015 the club is waiving the joining fee (usually £40) and reducing the subscription fee to £40 for a single member and £50 for a family. This is a real good deal as the broad is a beautiful location even if you don’t windsurf.

The club is also running a F1 Grand Prix themed weekend (sounds interesting!) on August 22nd and their Famous (or infamous!) BBQ on the 29th August.
