The 17 year-old Dutch windsurfing lady Maaike Huvermann finished the PWA Freestyle event on Fuerteventura on the third place. It was a quite important event for the girls, as this event was the only PWA Freestyle event for them this year. Maaike Huvermann: “The event went very well for me! It was nice to see so many girls competing! I’ve been able to sail solid heats, landing all moves I wanted to do during my heats pretty consistently! And knowing Fuerte is definitely not an easy spot to sail, so I am really stoked with my performance!”

The Japanese videofilmer Kuma filmed Maaike (and her family) after the competition during a windsurfing session in the lagoon at Risco del Paso and edited a clip with some nice girls freestyle action.
