From August 3 until August 9 the PWA Wave Worldcup fleet heads to El Cabezo on Tenerife (Canary Islands) for the second wave event of the season. Yesterday was the first day of the event and saw the wave fleets registering for the upcoming week of competition. Today on the second day it was the turn of the juniors. Marc Pare won the single single elimination in front of Julian Salmonn, Noah Vocker and Alexandre Grand-Guillout.

12 men sailors will compete in the trails to get a place in the main event. The winner of each heat advances into the main draw – second places face each other in a repechage heat and the winner qualifies into the main draw. Unfortunately, the forecast for the event period is not really looking very promising, but you never know….
