Camille Juban and Antoine Martin left Gran Canaria directly after the Gran Canaria Wind & Waves Festival 2014 and travelled with friends and a camera team to the Sultanate of Oman in July. The dry country, located on the southeastern quarter of the Arabic Peninsula, offers great windsurfing spots, especially on the island of Masirah. They scored great wind and waves. Summer is the best period for strong wind conditions. Unfortunately Camille injured his shoulder heavily and wasn’t able to windsurf during most of the days. He had to watch his friends from the beach and later had to undergo surgery, but he is fit again and won the first AWT event of the season on Sal, Cape Verde.
