Where was everyone on Sunday afternoon??

Neil and I looked at the forecast for Sunday and made the decision to sail at our favorite spot, Wells in the afternoon.We arrived in the rain and rigged up, Neil was on a 86L with a Severne S1, 4.4m and I was also on a 86L with a Gator 4.7m.We went out and found the bay was at its best!But after a short time the wind changed direction and dropped a bit, so we both changed up to 5.3’s.Heaven! It was smooth near the west bank and as you sailed towards the bar there was a lovely swell and nice waves at the bar. We both stayed till the wind picked up even more and we couldn’t hang on anymore.All I can say is keep an eye on the forecast as you missed a good sail.
