Towards the end of last year, around the holidays, I went to Sardinia to escape the cold morning sessions in Malcesine. And I finally got to test my Starboard Quad 87 and my new NeilPrydes sails in decent conditions.

This year, luckily, the conditions were pretty great and especially challenging. I managed to sail 9 days out of 15, sailing three times on my Flare 111 in Porto Pollo. I then headed down to Funtana for two starboard tack wave sessions. After this, I went on to Siniscola and Ciaccia, on the east side, for four days of port tack wavesailing. I even managed to squeeze in a final surf session on the last day just before heading back to the ferry and going back home!

All in all, it was a great little escape in our own italian Maui... SARDIGNA PRYDE!
