El Medano delivers for our first Windwise session of 2015!

Wind, waves, biking, tasty tapas, Spanish salty potatoes, Paella, Dorado beer and balcony views..... It has to be Windwise in Tenerife!

We've just returned from a stupendous week in El Medano. Our first two days were light fluffy and warm, so we did a mix of Wave Skills & Drills and then took to the hills with some off road biking through moon like landscape, banana plantations and wind farms!

Then.... the wind started to kick in with five solid days of cross shore breeze, large rolling swell and inshore waves to tease, test and try our Freewave skills. We covered launching, early planing, control, chop hops, wave catching, riding and both front and back side wave riding. As ever everyone really gave it their best and we had a real blast both on and off the water! Many thanks to the TWS crew for all their assistance and plethora of kit. I think we used it all! Single & Tri fins, quads and carbon boomed rigs from 3.7-7m! We left on a high after a day with a 52knot gust!
