We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting the inaugural NWF Speed Challenge this spring, on the weekend of 18-19th April. Here is more from the NWF man himself, Al Cross:

“This is a speed challenge that is all about encouraging all abilities and ages to the simple format of SPEED. There will be an individual and team aspect to the event. Teams will consist of 5 sailors. Speeds will be registered through both GPS & speed guns. There will be a limited number of GPS units for hire over the weekend. We will be accounting for peak, 10s and 250m speeds.

 We wish to attract new comers and existing speed sailors to the challenge but also introduce juniors from the age of 8yrs upwards. There will also be a techno speed class too. The UK windsurfing industry will be at hand with demo equipment and with first-hand advice to make you sail FASTER. The clinics will be hosted by the fastest ladies and men in the country.”
