Can you imagine 58,000 spectators watching the world's best windsurfers in a football stadium equipped with a state-of-the-art retractable roof?

Sailors will not ride the green grass. They will race in the gigantic pool that has been installed, spanning 90 metres in length and 33 metres in width.

Artificial wind will blow the arena with 34 enormous fans capable of generating winds of up to 70 km/h, or almost 38 knots.

"Man, I'm just over the moon an indoor event is happening at all! And to have it in my country in a 50k capacity stadium is a dream come true. And to be a part of it and compete in it? Are you kidding me? I'm just waiting for somebody to kick me in the nuts, and I'll wake up! Unreal," expressed Poland's very own Maciek Rutkowski

The 2014 Warsaw Indoor PWA World Cup will feature Slalom, Freestyle and Jump competitions. Check out the best setup and training pictures from the indoor windsurfing contest.
