For many years now the Fanatic Windsurf Camps stop in Morocco to do a very special clinic at a very special place: The Wave Special at Moulay Bouzerktoun/Essaouira. One of the best spots at the northern African coastline, combined with a center that has much more to offer than state of the art Fanatic and NorthSails equipment, with Cafe Resto on the first floor and the perfect view onto the spot and brand new rooms, chill out corners and tv room it – the ideal platform for Tom Brendt´s Fanatic clinic.

This time the Wave Special participants came over from Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Australia and Germany with only one goal: Learn and improve Wavesailing and feel the magic and power of the ocean and was the perfect playground to accomplish their mission. Moulay went off during the entire week – 2,5 to 3,5 meter high waves plus windspeed up to 40 knots became quite challenging the first days – especially for the less experienced wave warriors:-). Amazing to see when they crossed those fat lips for the first time just to turn around behind the impact zone and start their first little rides and come back safely to the shore…. Congrats and very well done to all participants!

The whole variety of lunch meals at the Cafe Resto recharged the batteries and some really nice dinners at the Medina of Essaouira were just a very nice little roundup to another really amazing week in Morocco…. Also Thxs to the team from FBC Moulay for all their help – the Wave Special will be back for sure!
