PWA Turkmenistan by Taty Frans

The event here in Turkmenistan Awaza is officially done. Even though we didn't got to finish the winners final of the top 12 men which i was also in due to lack of wind but so in the end 12 people finished with equal points 6,5. It's okay because we still have 5 event more to go. Leaving Turkmenistan knowing that I am 6th place overall in the slalom after two events, this makes the smile on my face even bigger.

So what's next?Well The tour is far from over, next stop is flying out of Turkmenistan, then is a 14 day break/trainig/daughter birthday in Bonaire and then 20 july get ready to pack for the flight to the PWA World Tour Windsurfing Canaries Island FUERTEVENTURA Grand slam event for the second freestyle and third slalom competition which will be on the 25th july til the 2nd of august.

Experienced TurkmenistanI will for sure come back to Turkmenistan next year. The organization is one of the best i have ever experience in years. Despite the wind that we didn't get, i guess we where just unlucky, but i would definitely give it another try next year.  To the people of Awaza and all the people that made this event possible, THANK YOU I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!Taty Frans NB-9
