MauiSails wins 4 divisions in the Maui Race Series

22nd July 2014

Number 4 of the Maui Race Series, QuikSilver Cup, is now in the bag with varying conditions at Kanaha this past weekend. A tropical storm on the way to Hawaii messed with the regular trade winds so it was the waiting game until about noon when finally the winds picked up enough to complete the age group races only.

Mens 40 to 49 was dominated by the superstar of Kanaha slalom racing, Micah Buzianis who won 3 of the heats from Peter Slate with another MauiSails rider Mr Kevin Ozee (owner of Second Wind Maui) in third place. Micah was riding his TRX 7.7, got clean starts then used his superior board speed to put distance on his competition.
