It’s turning out to be one endless summer here at the Poole Windsurfing School. Long lazy days, with students enjoying a refreshing breeze out on their windsurf lessons. Never before have we had so many days where students can just head out in their swimwear!

This run of hot, sunny days with steady breezes has been going on for weeks and may it continue right through the holidays. If you haven’t made in out on the water yet, you really should come down to the Poole Windsurfing School and take a beginners lesson or rent some windsurf equipment to make the most of this epic summer.

Whether you are local to the area and looking to make the most of Poole Harbour or just planning a trip/holiday to the south coast, windsurfing is a great way to get active and experience a great new sport. We can take you from beginner, through the improver stages and on to advanced windsurf skills with a combination of lessons and rental practice time.

The new windsurf equipment just keeps on coming…

We have taken delivery of another two brand new 2014/15 Goya Surf 202lt boards which are perfect for learning the basics on & then really progressing those skills with some practice time. Another RRD Easyride 180lt board is on its way, great for moving from beginner to improver skills. These boards can take you right though to learning beachstarts, harness, faster tacks & gybes, planing & footstraps!

The entire range of buoyancy aids is being replaced with brand new Helly Hansen Rider Vests, keeping you safe & stylish all at the same time – nice!

A full replacement of all Amex Coreline booms is under way using all new Pat Love harness lines. Even our ‘volcano pads’ (those little covers over the mastfoot that stop you stubbing your toes!) are being switched out for brand new, super lush ones!

The windsurf action has been going on into the evenings, with our regular weekly windsurf club. Sunsets and windsurfing make for a pretty nice end to the day….

Checkout the group to the left chilling and taking in the sunset after a little evening windsurf session. You would be forgiven for thinking this shot was taken somewhere in the Med or even the Caribbean but it is in fact at the Poole Windsurfing School, Poole Harbour & its right on your doorstep.
