Sun, wind, rain, pies, stunning scenery and fabulous hospitality....it's our Northern Tour
We've just returned from our Northern Tour. Where we had a great skills session at Grafham Water and then went onto Grimwith Reservoir for a stormy but really enjoyable day in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. We then finished off at Barrow in Furness, which was an incredibly wild session, F6 rain and lightening speeds on one of the fastest stretches of water in the UK at Roa Island (and the best pies!). A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and for all the wonderful hospitality everywhere we went.
GRAFHAM WATER
Here's the gang from Grafham. You'll notice the fast car and the even faster new Starboard Atoms. But did you notice HB upside down to the left of the picture? Great work everyone and look forward to seeing many of you at NWF.
GRIMWITH RESERVOIR
This is the crew from Grimwith Water, it was great to sail with you all in such stunning surroundings. We must of had every season in one day, practice those Windwise skills and I look forward to seeing you next time!
ROA ISLAND, BARROW-IN-FURNESS
Here's Bill from Topmark supplying the pies that kept us going through a F6-7, rain and all sorts being thrown at us. Too wet to get the camera out! But great session everyone. 5 hours on the water in those conditions is good going, especially working on news skills and pushing it. See you again soon!
