My name is Izzy Hamilton, 21 from Bude, Cornwall. I race in the Olympic RS:X Women’s 8.5m windsurfing class. I grew up windsurfing on the lakes in Cornwall, starting on the 1.8m sail when I was 13! Now I get to travel and compete around the world. I also love to surf and kite-surf in my free time!

I started my windsurfing career at my local Kids Club at Tamar Lake. I learnt to kayak, sail, windsurf and raft build (mainly push my friends off the pontoon). Before deciding windsurfing was my favourite and going to T15 competitions at other local lakes!
