Just got my hands on the second wave board made especially for me by Jon 'Moo man' Kennet. The first one, The Holy Cow, was all about iffy conditions -getting going in nothing, and then turning on a sixpence. This one, The 'Flying Friesian' is all about full on firing conditions, no compromises!
Huge thanks to Jon for building it, and to Geoff Hautman for making the logo idea a reality :)
54.5cm wide, 228 long, 5.4 kg, pin tail, twin finner.
Decided on a twin fin as it's still my favourite -fast, loose and grippy with the k4fins in.
Built to take on the big wave reefs and slabs around the UK, hopefully won't be long now until they fire up.
I'm sure I'll be as pleased with it as I am with the 'Holy'' which absolutely flies. Looks Sick!
