Well, why don’t you introduce them to watersports  and bring them along  to the National Watersports Festival (NWF) 30 Aug – 01 Sept 2013….

Throughout the 3 day event there are taster sessions being coordinated by Portsmouth Watersports Centre & British SUP Association in Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Windsurfing.  All equipment and tuition supplied.  You book online for your desired sport, but then you can also try out the other sports once registered.

Either book per day or indeed why not make it a family event and book for the whole 3 days which gives you on site parking/camping and also a party ticket for the Fri & Sat night entertainment.

Plus there will be kids background activities and the various industries showing off their latest kit and with various  professionals in all sports assisting and encouraging participation.

If you are under the age of 16 and already active in any of these sports and additionally kitesurfing there will be an opportunity to participate with other juniors in a very low competition which is all about inclusive non intimidating fun.

There will also be water balls and  face painting etc on hand or in deed why not use the onsite skate park. Plus a good selection of food vendors on site.
