Sanchidrian is a 13-year-old rider from El Medano, Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. After only two years windsurfing, he is already landing forwards, back loops and showing impressive style and talent in the waves.
Some say he could be the next Philip Köster. His favorite windsurfing discipline is wave sailing. El Cabezo and Pozo Izquierdo are his daily training grounds.
"I started windsurfing at the beach of El Médano with my stepfather. That was two years ago; I was 11 years old, and I directly loved it", explains Tim Van Dam Sanchidrian.
"Many people tell me that I have learned a lot in two years. It makes me really happy and motivates me to learn more moves. My dream is to become a professional windsurfer and later open a windsurfing school", he adds.
Tim Van Dam Sanchidrian started windsurfing with his stepfather. He loves riding three meter-high waves, and 30 knots of winds and his idols are Philip Köster, Dany Bruch, Alex Mussolini and Adam Lewis.
