I finish 13° / 66 riders…..

Heats : 8 minutes, best jump and best surf.

Round 1: first heat with my 4.6: I finish first. I don’t need to do the Round 2 (second chance) and I go direct on the Round 3: I do a good heat with my 4.0: a little back, a good back landed full planning, a table front and good surfs: I’m qualified for the Round 4 with the pros. Just 2 places to go to the quarter.  It’s very difficult, we are almost at high tide and we have a strong current on the spot. I take my 4.6. I do good surfs but I don’t land my back, I just do a front in the last minute. I’m not qualified for the quarter. Last chance for me the Round 5, we are 3 for a place to the quarter.  I do good surfs, with aerials, but I don’t find a good wave for a jump, just a little forward, not enough!

I could have done better (9° was possible) but worse too,many greatridersbehind me.....

Results and drink at 20h00 and back to home at midnight after 2 hours of driving…..
