Korea.. anybody for dog? :)
Time for a few updates.. well better late than never!
First up.. Korea! South Korea that is… and more specifically Jinha Beach for the opening Slalom event of the year.. and no i wasn’t competing, i was of course doing the live stream commentary!
As far as the event goes, it went pretty well.. only 2 days of racing but it was very intense and close racing. We also had a new man at the top which was nice to see… With Alberto Menegggggggggatti taking home the win. It’s also worth mentioning how many young guys were also up there.. when i say young i mean under 30! or more to the point not over 40!! haha.. anyway… i really enjoyed the commentary and it was a good way to start the year!
I’m just going to add a load of random pics/holiday snaps just so you get an idea of the place!! Funny stuff.. I’d heard mixed reports about the place before i got there so it was good to see for myself… I had a good craic!!
First i’ll kick it off with a video of Sean the camera man eating some of the local cuisine.. funny shit, you have to check it out!!!

Korean fast food.. cook it yourself! Well tasted pretty good.. although not sure what meat it was!
No words can describe this evening… haha.. we brought our own meat to cook! Which seemed strange to me.. and no one would let us in!! (which made sense!) But in the end some drunken local worker managed to convince the lady who ran this cafe to let us in!! She really didn’t seem happy.. well until she saw we were pounding the beers.. then she was all smiles!!
Total Legend and nut job all in one! …i’m talking of the guy on the right of course! The guy on the left just seems to pop up in every picture!
