NP/JP CARRO WAVE CLASSIC

NeilPryde and JP were the organizers of the event which turned out to be the best wave competition in France since more than 10 years.

The French top riders were there and also some pros from the PWA World Tour, like Jules Denel, Fanny Aubet, Yann Sune, Thomas Traversa, Julien Taboulet, Peter Volwater.

On the first day the condition were small and very hardcore the 2nd day with gusts up to 50 knots and big waves. It was not the usual Mistral but wind from the South East blowing so strong.

Fanny Aubet FRA-908 won the girls competition with nice turns and a big forward.

Yann Sune F-9 was delivering a great show and tried to go big. Consequently you saw (check in the video) some high jumps and fat wipe-outs.

Jules Denel FRA-41 sailed great and made it all to the final, but there he was unlucky because he lost his equipment on a big wave and spent most time of this heat swimming after his equipment. Still, Jules was the only competitor to do a double forward.
