Why do you wake?
It’s an awesome sport! I love landing new tricks and just doing what I love!
Why do you love it?
I love the fact that when I’m riding it’s just me and my board, I love competing and progressing! I love extreme sports and wakeboarding fits the bill! ;)
How did you get into the sport?
My friend had a birthday party at WakeMK and then things just blew up from there really.
Why would you encourage other girls to get into the sport and any advice on how they can go about it?
It keeps you fit and is a very social thing to do! It is a very fun way of exercising and it gives you a great sense of achievement when you improve. If you want to get involved in wakeboarding then just search it up in Google and find your nearest cable. or visit Wide Awake, which is a girl’s wakeboarding website. Lex Balladon also puts on girls ride days and ladies mornings at some cables.
