With rolling swell on the outside and the totally un-crowded flat water gybertorium on the inside, Marsa Alam provided the perfect WINDWISE environment for a mix of skills training and fast flat water blasting. We spent at least 4-5 hours a day on the water working through a mix of early planing, blasting control, fast tacks, dry gybing, duck gybes, flat water wave riding, upwind and downwind 360's and, as ever, working on individual aspirations. There were loads of firsts and we used our WINDWISE muscle memory inducing skills training to bring the best out of everyone and ensure a great time on the water.

Everyone worked extremely hard, which was good as we needed to burn a whole bunch of calories to justify the endless buffet, double lunches, après sailing tea and pancakes, plus our customary visit to the secret taste sensation of what we call 'Little Italy' in Marsa Alam.

As ever our thanks go out to the amazing gang at the windsurfing centre, who provide a truly first class service! How many places do you know where they virtually run down to the beach with your kit! 

It's always great to see everyone blasting, going for their particular moves, gybes and making the very best of these great conditions and the on and off water coaching sessions. Everyone was sad to have to leave ☹
