The move that took Robby Swift K-89 to the second round of the RedBull Storm Chase and which was the highest scoring move of this event in Brandon Bay, Ireland:
The PUSH FORWARD.
This combination of two jumps was invented by Robby’s team mate Kauli Seadi. It starts with a push loop (a special back loop) and at the apex of the jump it is followed by a forward loop. The increddible aspect about this move is that the backward rotation has to be stopped and then -in an incredible height- the forward rotation has to be initiated.
RedBull reports:
Robby Swift made the benchmark move of the contest with a perfect, dry-landed, pushloop-forward combo.
Head Judge Coombs: “I think that’s the highest, most perfect, controlled push-forward I’ve ever seen.”
